Instructions:
Install Eye Candy and open your copy of PhotoImpact
Later on in this tutorial we need to use the mask mode prior to using Eye Candy.
Note: Using Eye Candy's Jiggle filter on an object does not work well.It does work on selections though by using the Mask Mode

Throughout the tutorial, you will see in my screen shots that I use a golden color for my Mask Mode with a transperancy of 20% you can set up yours in File -- Preferences -- General :

For this tutorial you can leave those settings at default. These settings won't effect your final results.

Another method would be using a mask for the jagged edges of the bear's fur. But let's work with the Mask Mode for now.

=======================

Open a new white canvas of 500 x 500 pixels. We will resize later.

We will start with the bear's head. Change to the Standard Selection Tool and in the Attribute Toolbar click on Options and make sure that both: Preserve Base Image and Ant-alias have a checkmark.

Use these settings:

Click on your canvas and with the selection active click on this button   in the Tool Panel to go into Mask Mode

In the Menu Bar click on Effect: Eye Candy 3.1 --- Jiggle and use these settings and click OK.

It will take a few moments for the Eye Candy to work. When the window has closed, click out of mask mode and right click to : Convert to Object. In your Layer Manager rename this object: head.

In the Menu Bar go to Edit: Fill -- Image tab, click the File radio button and browse to your desktop folder with the materials that you downloaded and unzipped. Find the wd-bear-dark fill image and click on it. Be sure that the : Tile the Image radio button is checked. OK.

With your Pick Tool, drag your head object to the edge of your canvas for later. Deselect.

Save your work as bear ufo to the folder where your materials are.

Change to the Selection Tool : same settings but this time change the size of the selection to 75 x 75 pixels and click in the middle of your canvas.

Click the Mask Mode button and repeat the Eye Candy - Jiggle with the same settings, but change the Warp Amount to 11.

Click out of Mask Mode, right click Convert to Object and Fill with the wd-bear-light file that should be in the same folder as the first fill image.
Rename this layer: muzzle.
Right click: Arrange : Bring to Front.
Drag it on top of your head object like this:

And Deselect. Save your work. Change to your Path Drawing Tool. Shape: Circle. Mode:3D Round. Color Black.

Draw a small shape of 15 x 15 pixels.
Right click: Duplicate and put in place like so:

Select both eyes and Merge as a Single Object. rename the merged layer : eyes and deselect. Save your work.

Change the shape of the Path Drawing Tool to: Custom Shape: B27

Draw a shape of 25 x 25 pixels. Change to the Transform Tool and Flip and Rotate and Flip the shape Vertically.
